Most Restylane appointments take around an hour, and you can expect to experience minimal mild discomfort during your treatment. You should be able to see visible improvement in smoothness and cheek volume within a week of your procedure. After Restylane® Contour, you may experience some swelling, redness, pain, bruising, or tenderness. However, these side effects are usually mild and fade on their own in about a week. Swelling may be more likely for those under the age of 36, while bruising is more likely for those over the age of 35.
If you’re looking for a way to reduce wrinkles, erase fine lines, and combat creases in your cheeks, Restylane® Contour might be the right option for you. This treatment is generally only recommended for those over the age of 21 and can be used as an anti-aging preventative measure for those under the age of around 40.
